Welcome to the CMW

Welcome to the brand new Center for Mennonite Writing on the Web. We hope that you will visit us often to explore our features: the CMW Journal with a discussion forum, CMW Encyclopedia, and the CMW Community.

The CMW Journal , guest edited by Ervin Beck, will be published bi-monthly. Each issue will typically focus on a particular theme, author, or genre within Mennonite Writing, and will include poetry, fiction, essays, and criticism.

CMW Journal Discussion , housed in the CMW Community , is a forum feature that allows readers to interact with and respond to articles and literary works published in the CMW Journal.

CMW Encyclopedia includes a comprehensive series of links to Mennonite periodicals and sites online. Web sites for Mennonites Writers, new and archived sites for Mennonite/s Writing conferences, and biographical resources for Mennonite writers are available here.

CMW News section, which will be updated frequently, is located in the CMW Community . This interactive news blog features the latest on conferences, publications, awards, and other news concerning Mennonite writers. To send items for inclusion in the news, please use the contact form .

If you would like to submit work to us, guest edit a special issue, or even blog for us, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our about page to learn more about our vision and editorial policy and our contact section to inquire by email.

We invite you to post thoughtful replies to essays and creative work through our interactive blog. Suggestions for improving or adding material to the site should be sent directly through a contact form available on our contact page .
