Acquiring Land, Jane Rohrer's second published volume of poems, appears as #17 in the Dreamseeker Poetry series of Cascadia Press. Edited and with an introduction by poet Julia Spicher Kasdorf, these eighteen poems are culled from a life lived with an artist' sensibility in the company of artists. Pushing back against the hypocrisy that piety and provincialism often exact, the poems are reports from a keen and conscious sensibility steeped in both modernist poetics and the writer's love of land, place, and a rigorous honesty to inner landscapes.
The book is available from major online outlets or your local bookstore.

and
"Hearing the Brush," a complementary exhibit at the Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia, most likely in January 2021.
