Miriam Toews wins the Rogers Writer's Trust Prize

Miriam Toews won $25,000 and the Rogers Writers Trust prize for a novel she says "she wished she didn't have to write."

All My Puny Sorrows, informed by the suicide of Toews' sister, was published earlier this year. Carrie Snyder was a finalist for her new novel, Runner Girl.
