At Powerline and Diamond Hill: Unexpected Intersections of Life and Work by Lee Snyder has just been published by Cascadia publishing company.
This is a readable and engaging reflection on the elements of a life that led to leadership and service in surprising ways. Snyder was the first woman president of Bluffton College, and has held a number of significant leadership roles in the Mennonite Church. Yet her book is as intimate and personable as a chat over tea, sharing reflections of works of art and literature that inspire her, challenges faced in finishing her education as an adult or in her presidential office, and moments of spiritual insight, all the while showing us a self that is genuine, whole, caring, and capable of preparing dinner for a crowd.--Ann Hostetler
