    These poems are stunning...After a long day of weeding and planting and writing myself, they were just what I needed. I've been to Kylemore Abbey (Well, we made it to the parking lot--the crowd of tourists was too much), so I could momentarily whisk myself back to the land of ancient green mystery when reading these stanzas. Hints of Plath and Loiuse Gluck and Gerard Manley Hopkins--and, of course, a voice all Ms. Pierce's own. I'd like to know why Katie worked in these gardens? Was she considering joining the convent?
