    Hilarious story, John. The dialogue does a great job of getting across cultural attitudes in broken English, as in "Let's do oral." The story is especially poignant to me since I'm living in a foreign country and spending a lot of time in language classes. I also happen to be a teacher, and you've really captured the classroom dynamic well.
