About the Author
Jean Janzen is a poet who also writes essays, and occasionally, song lyrics. She has taught at Fresno Pacific University and Eastern Mennonite University, and lives in Fresno, California. Her seventh book of poems, What the Body Knows, Cascadia Publishing, will be released in spring of 2015.
Larry Warkentin is professor emeritus at Fresno Pacific University. His compositions have been performed by numerous orchestras and choirs across the USA and Canada. In June 2014 his orchestral variations on "Nun ist sie erschienen" was premiered at Conrad Grebel College in Ontario. He and his wife Paula are members of North Fresno Mennonite Brethren Church where they serve in the music ministry.
